Practical Resources for Rural Long-Term Health Care

You've arrived at America's first Community of Care, a virtual location in a very genuine place known as Eastern Oregon.

Community of Care can offer:

  • Tools to stay current professionally.
  • Connecting health care providers with job opportunities.
  • A forum for solving problems and sharing information with your peers.
  • Learning about best practice models.
  • Energizing your attitude through contact with others that share your vision.

Community of Care is a result of the combined efforts of the Eastern Oregon Human Services Consortium, the Oregon Workforce Investment Board, and the Center for Human Development, Inc. We are putting to use the promise of new ways of delivering service and doing business utilizing the latest technology so that skilled professionals will find a challenging and interesting environment for career growth from a rural setting.

For professionals seeking a better way of life, away from the long commutes, crime, rising cost of housing, and stress of city life, we offer a chance to develop your career goals in a rural setting.

We will be glad to post your training event, news story, or health care related web link on our site. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact us!
